Entrepreneurs Heroes - Corey Bell - Man of Impact

This week we studied about another entrepreneurial hero, Corey Bell, a man of impact.
Corey didn't start out to be an entrepreneur, but as he progressed through his career he realized that something was missing his life. He realized that he wanted to pass through this life having been a man of impact and not ending it with what-ifs.

The chairman and co-founder of TriFusion, a company that services some of the largest companies in the world and a host of government agencies with custom-made IT hardware solutions, Corey has driven out the phrase can't from his vocabulary.  Like all great entrepreneurs, he focuses ways to get beyond can't.

After working for several years, Corey sat down and wrote a dream and map for his life and become a man of impact and then made that dream a reality.

For entrepreneurs, Corey teaches three lessons:

  • Live your life as a person of impact and not a person of what-ifs.
  • Focus beyond the can't to the real solution.
  • Build a vision and plan for your life.

Bruce was a very successful entrepreneur, and that he not only succeeded in his entrepreneur efforts but also in his personal life. When he passed away in his early 50s (1956-2009) he did so knowing that he was there for his family throughout most of his life. As an entrepreneur, he valued doing what was right and his families and friends more than financial success. He learned early that there will never be enough time to do all the things that need to be done in business and that his time with his family was far more limited and important then getting that one last thing done in the office. Entrepreneurs Heroes - Randy Pausch April 29, 2017 by Maria Tucker This past week we studied about a hero who is not a traditional entrepreneur but a visionary. Randy Pausch, who at 47 years of age passed away. But what is inspiring about Randy is it just before he passed away, he gave what he knew would be his last lecture entitled "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams." In this lecture, Randy talks about his life and achieving many of his childhood dreams. Quoting Randy: "… what were my childhood dreams? You may not agree with this list, but I was there. Being in zero gravity, playing in the National Football League, authoring an article in the World Book Encyclopedia – I guess you can tell the nerds early.
